In February Activision revealed that it’s about time for the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC, to bring crash bandicoot 4. The announcement revealed that on March 12 – which is now the case for those of you who don’t have a handy calendar – the Console versions of the game will be released but refused to release a date for the PC version.
Today, Activision justified this mistake and revealed when the PC version is released.
You can breathe a sigh of relief, as Crash 4 will lapse on a PC before we close the book on March, were You concerned that the version of the PC will fall behind the Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch Versions by just a few months. Activision today showed that on March 26 – two weeks from now, the pc version of Crash Bandicoot 4 will land on a PC.
If the game is launched on a PC, it is only available via the Battle.net client of Blizzard, as were most of Activision’s recent PC games.
The PC version will run at 4K resolution when you missed the official announcement in February, but that will, of course, depend on your Hardware. When you are running the game according to Activision’s guidelines – including an Intel Core I5-2500k/AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, NVIDIA GTX 970/AMD R9 390 and 16GB of RAM – this allows you to have 60 frames per second, although the frame rate is not limited to PCs. This is enough.
The versions of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 offer a similar performance and Activision claims that the game is 4K60 on both consoles. The game will meanwhile increase to 4K in Xbox Series S, whereas on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 it is running at 4K natively.
