Instagram geolocation data swayed ruling on French star’s estate

Based on that Instagram data, he spent 151 days in France in 2015, and 168 in 2014. Later, while undergoing treatment for the cancer that would eventually take his life, he spent eight consecutive months in France.

The pass judgement on used to be satisfied, ruling that French courts had jurisdiction within the topic. Whilst the verdict will probably be appealed, Instagram’s position on this case is only one extra signal that our virtual footprints will live to tell the tale lengthy when we are long gone.
