Insiders who receive the first experimental changes can look forward to a new “Jump back in” row for recent games and apps, easy access to system apps, curated gaming categories and recommendations, and “consistent design and visual identifiers with updated layouts to keep the experience familiar.”
Microsoft is soliciting feedback from those who have noticed the design changes via the Xbox Insiders subreddit (Opens in a new window). If you aren’t an Insider, that may be the best way to keep up with the changes. And, as for when Microsoft will release the new design to all Xbox owners, it will not be this year. However, the final version will be released in 2023.
The company, which is dealing with declining subscriber numbers and increased competition from companies such as Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) and Apple Inc (AAPL.O), did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
In the next three years, Netflix hopes to increase its subscriber base to 500 million customers worldwide. It lost 970,000 subscribers from April to June and provided a forecast for the current quarter that fell short of Wall Street expectations.
Netflix announced in June that it had laid off 300 employees, or about 4% of its workforce, in the second round of cost-cutting measures.

According to the report, the California-based company is expanding its “emerging talent” recruitment initiative by hiring more junior employees ranging from interns to recent college graduates.
