It’s a big day for Cyberpunk 2077 as after a long absence the game comes back to the PlayStation Store. Shortly after release, Cyberpunk 2077 was removed and has been away from the PlayStation Store for about six months. Während das Spiel heute eine große Rückkehr macht, ist es mit einem Warning für diejenigen, die ein PlayStation 4 besitzen.
“PlayStation Store now offers Cyberpunk 2077. Work continues on the PS4 version, which will release corrections and updates throughout the year,” said PlayStation in a tweet today. “Playing with PS4 Pro or PS5 consoles is advisable for the best experience on PlayStation.”
A similar warning is in fact displayed in the Cyberpunk 2077 PlayStation Store listing. The warning reads: “IMPORTAL NOTICE: This game continues to cause users performance problems.” “It is not advisable to buy for use on PS4 systems. PlayStation plays on PS4 Pro and PS5 systems for the best Cyberpunk experience.”
This point has documented Cyberpunk 2077’s problems with last-gen consoles. Although the game did not function well on any platform except top-of-the-line PCs and Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One were particularly poor. At the beginning of the year, the CD Projekt Red has fixed an array of problems with two large patches and plans to keep the door fixed until the rest of 2021.
The big question is if the game will become much better after the patches and corrections have been implemented on PS4 and Xbox One. We’ll see what is happening from here but probably best for the moment, if you don’t play with a PS4 Pro or a PlayStation 5 then you can buy Cyberpunk 2077.
