I said pineapples contain a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that may work together to improve immunity and also reduce inflammation. An example is bromelain. Studies have shown that bromelain can reduce inflammation markers hence aiding immune heath. According to an article published by Healthline, in an older 9-day study conducted, 98 healthy children ate either no pineapple, roughly 140 or 280 grams of pineapple daily. Those who ate pineapple had a significantly lower risk of both viral and bacterial infections. Also, children who ate the most pineapple had almost four times more disease-fighting white blood cells than the other groups. pineapple benefit

Pineapples may help with digestion;

Because pineapple contains bromelain (a group of digestive enzymes), it may help with the digestion of meat. I said bromelain functions as a protease, which helps to break down protein molecules. It’s easier for our small intestine to absorb broken-down protein molecules. Again, pineapples are a good source of fiber, which also aids in digestion.

May reduce the risk of cancer;

Someone commonly linked the progression of cancer to oxidative stress and chronic inflammation. Many studies have implied that pineapple and its compounds may reduce the risk of getting cancer. It may achieve this by minimizing oxidative stress and reducing inflammation. Also, some studies have shown that bromelain may help in the treatment of cancer.
