The Pokemon GO event Sword and Shield, which was unlocked during Pokemon GO Fest 2021, is featured today! Until August 31, 2021 at 8 p.m. local time, the “Ultra Unlock Part 3: Sword and Shield” event will continue. Boosted spawns for Galarian Darumaka, Trubbish, Wooloo, Falinks, Snorlax and Kingler have been added to the game! There are Hoopa’s ring in the sky. All sorts of new Pokemon will be added in the next two weeks by Hoopa!
Keep going if you’re not already protesting Niantic. Getting a Wooloo encounter is the first step in Field Research (event tasks). As a next step, use seven berries to help you catch Pokemon and meet Skwovet! You’ll get 5 Pokeballs after spinning 10 Pokestops or Gym locations.
While this event is running, you’ll receive 2x Pinap Berries if you manage to capture a wild Pokemon. After defeating three Team GO Rocket grunts, you’ll meet Galarian Farfetch’d. After winning two raid battles, the user will be rewarded with a chance to meet Falinks!
Due to a “bug” (according to Niantic), we’ll see Machamp in week 1 and Gengar in week 2 of this event’s Raid Bosses. During week one, Lapras and Galarian Weezing were also 3-star raids, as were Snorlax and Galarian Stunfisk in week 2.
There are four 1-star raid bosses in the first week, including Unown U, Galarian Zigzagoon, and Galarian Farfetch’d. Unown U, Galarian Darumaka, Galarian Ponyta, and Galarian Meowth will all be featured in Week 2. Zacian will be the 5-star raid for week one, and Zamazenta will be the 5-star raid for week two! Mega Beedrill raids will appear in week one, while Mega Pidgeot raids will appear in week two.
As of August 20, 2021, the event began at 10 A local time. Until August 31, 2021 at 8PM local time, it’ll run. We’ll be seeing the debut of new Pokemon like Zamazenta (hero form), Zacian (hero form), Falinks, Wooloo, and Skwovet at this event!

All of the shiny Pokemon to keep an eye out for in the next two weeks are Galarian! Shiny Galarian Meowth, Shiny Galarian Perrserker, Shiny Galarian Farfetch’d, Shiny Galarian Sirfetch’d, Shiny Galarian Weezing, and Shiny Galarian Stunfisk should be on the lookout for you.
